2010 Tournament News
Chess Scotland is once again delighted to announce the third 'Law Society of Scotland Secondary Allegro Team Championships' and introduce the new "National Secondary Championship" which will take place in Dunfermline Football Club, Fife, on Sunday 14 March 2010.
The events are exclusively for those in secondary education and provide an opportunity for competition in quality surrounds. The event hopes to encourage, develop and promote the numerous skills and attributes in our young participants which Chess is associated with; such as concentration, initiative, motivation and morale to name but a few! At stake for competitors is a generous prize fund and prestigous Scottish championship titles. However, without the generous sponsorship of The Law Society of Scotland and Lindsays Solicitors, this event would not be possible.
Over the next few weeks the website will be updated with entrants and prizefund updates, so keep checking back for more information and get entering soon!!
